38 years of Festival history are in themselves a significant achievement. Yet it is thanks to the people, the city, and the thousands of busking artists from all over the world that its quality has truly become evident. Becoming part of it means carrying forward a story made of our most beautiful shared memories.

2. INVEST IN CULTURE
In an association there are no shareholders dividing profits according to their shares. Resources are reinvested to uphold values and improve the quality of the event, contributing to the development of the local area and to the growth of the artistic genre of “busking.”

Members can take part, suggest ideas, propose organizational procedures and logistical innovations, and share their opinions on artistic matters by contributing to the team’s decisions.
All Members have the right to participate in decisions, and each counts equally.

Sustainability has been one of the core values of the Ferrara Buskers Festival for over 15 years. It guides the selection of suppliers, event setups, and performance site planning, and inspires awareness campaigns in which Members play an active and proactive role.

The Ferrara Buskers Festival is committed to a broader project aimed at supporting culture and the historical, artistic, and environmental heritage of the city – or cities – where it takes place.

6. STANDING FOR RIGHTS
The Ferrara Buskers Festival promotes and takes part in initiatives that support human rights, encouraging awareness paths in favor of inclusion and gender equality.

7. BEYOND THE EVENT
Beyond the Ferrara Buskers Festival itself, there is an entire busking world made up of events, workshops, and seminars on Urban Theatre. Many sectors – health, assistance and well-being, culture and information, sports, travel, personal care – can build connections, with the Festival acting as a key reference point for the field.

Membership applications and renewals are open until June 30, 2026. The membership card is valid for the calendar year and expires on December 31, 2026.
